These games, popular for hundreds of years, and yet few people can recall their origin, or indeed believe that any one person invented them! And yet, one person did - John Jaques II. Jaques original Ludo board design is presented so that you too can experience this fantastic parlor game. Snakes and Ladders can be played by 2 to 4 players, and is enjoyed by a span of ages. The Deluxe Mahogany frame is beautifully finished with each and every board undergoing a special finishing process for protection and presentation and comes with four wooden playing discs, dice and a soft dice carry bag. The Snakes and Ladders, 23 inch version of our original Snakes & Ladders game, is an exact copy of Jaques' original design and features a circular route (as opposed to the side-to-side game route which became more common in later years).
